• 1/4 of a cabbage
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1-3 carrots (depending on size)
  • 3-4 tbsp. of mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. of pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. of nutmeg


  1. Halve the onion, keeping the root intact. Remove the outer skin, and top. Placing the cut side down, make a series of cuts (keeping the root intact) both horizontally and vertically. Finally cut across – resulting in finally diced pieces of onion.
  2. Finely slice the cabbage, and grate the carrots.
  3. Add 3 tbsp of mayonnaise, if more is needed add the 4th. Finally mix all the ingredients together.
