A street food from the Philippines normally served from a cart into small brown paper bags.

Although a simple combination of garlic, chilli, and peanuts, they are good served still warm or later when cooled. They make for good palutan (bar snack) or as an appetiser.

  • Peanuts
  • Chilli, roughly chopped
  • Garlic, sliced or crushed with the side of  a knife and left ‘whole’
  • Salt

  1. Fry the peanuts.
  2. Do the same for the garlic then chilli.
  3. Mix together and season with salt.

Or, they are available freshly prepared from Mylene’s Munchies (delivery to Worthing, Brighton, Horsham, and surrounding areas).
