A street food from the Philippines normally served from a cart into small brown paper bags.

Although a simple combination of garlic, chilli, and peanuts, they are good served still warm or later when cooled. They make for good palutan (bar snack) or as an appetiser.

Ingredients:

  • Peanuts
  • Chilli, roughly chopped
  • Garlic, sliced or crushed with the side of  a knife and left ‘whole’
  • Salt

Method:

  1. Fry the peanuts.
  2. Do the same for the garlic then chilli.
  3. Mix together and season with salt.
