A street food from the Philippines normally served from a cart into small brown paper bags.
Although a simple combination of garlic, chilli, and peanuts, they are good served still warm or later when cooled. They make for good palutan (bar snack) or as an appetiser.
- Chilli, roughly chopped
- Garlic, sliced or crushed with the side of a knife and left ‘whole’
- Fry the peanuts.
- Do the same for the garlic then chilli.
- Mix together and season with salt.
Or, they are available freshly prepared from Mylene’s Munchies (delivery to Worthing, Brighton, Horsham, and surrounding areas).
