Hopia are small round pastries made with Chinese-style puff pastry and a sweet filling.

Also known as bakpia they are popular in the Philippines, Indonesia and Fuji. There are number of popular fillings, including:

Ube Hopia (with an ube – purple yam – filling)

Hopia Baboy (a sweet filling with pork, lard, & onions)

Hopia Munggo (a filling of milk and sweetened bean paste)
